O2 director Ricardo Laganaro has released a teaser for his new VR film “Step into the Line,” made in partnership with Oculus with support from O2 Filmes, at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
The film is part of the “VR for Good” project and portrays the work done by the Defy Ventures NGO in maximum security prisons in the United States.
The photo above shows the director with the Oculus team from Reel FX and other directors participating in the “VR for Good” Bootcamp.
“The best thing about releasing a VR film here is that it isn’t shown to a few geeks in a small part of the festival and that’s it. Here the festival is full of VR content. There’s a lot happening and lots of people are being exposed to Virtual Reality content,” Laganaro tells us.
The festival runs from January 19 to 29, and the complete schedule can be found here.
