O2 has signed up for the SAMPA CINE TEC project, receiving youths interested in getting degrees in the audiovisual area to participate in its productions.
SPCINE, in partnership with the Municipal Secretariat of Development, Labor, and Entrepreneurship (SDTE), the São Paulo Foundation for Education, Technology and Culture, and the São Paulo Development Agency (ADESAMPA), has created a program for audiovisual studies called SAMPA CINE TEC, which offers professional education in Cinema and TV including audiovisual language and training in companies in this sector.
The SAMPA CINE TEC project has selected 64 people who have gone through an intense five week theoretical/practical training program, two of them at the Instituto Criar. The concentrations offered are 2D animation, camera operation, directing photography, editing, post-production, electric/machine technician, set production and executive production.
Meet Larissa Martins Almeida, one of those selected by the project, who’s interning in the Production Department at O2. In the video below, Larissa talks about her ambitions, experiences and future plans.
